The Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce invites local residents to attend the Breakfast Brief speaker series held on the first Friday of every month at Hub Stacey's at The Point restaurant, located at 5851 Galvez Road. Each month a community leader will speak on a topic relevant to life in and near Perdido Key.
The featured speakers for January 7, 2022, will be Rick Byars, External Affairs Senior Manager, along with Jeff Rouillier, Manager of Large Projects. Byers and Rouillier will discuss Gulf Power/Florida Power & Lights reliability and storm hardening plans in Escambia County. The discussion will focus on work that is being done in the Perdido Key area, including substation upgrades and the hardening of distribution lines in the area.
Networking coffee will start at 7:30 AM and the program will begin at 8:00 AM. The event is free to attend for pre-registered Perdido Key Chamber members, admittance for non-members is $5.00. Guests are asked to register online for planning purposes. Non-registered attendees can pay $5.00 at the door. Coffee, tea, and assorted pastries will be provided for attendees while supplies last.
