This months Brown Bag Lunch Series is designed to empower individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance for their websites and social media platforms. In this informative series, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of ADA guidelines and how they apply to digital content. The focus of the class is on making online content accessible to individuals with disabilities, including those with visual impairments. One of the key topics covered is the importance of adding alternative text (alt text) to images, a critical step in making visual content accessible to screen readers and other assistive technologies.
