OWA Mardi Gras Parade & Party
Are you ready to let the good times roll? Grab your masks and beads because we’re celebrating in style with a fully decked-out float parade led by OWA Parks & Resort and a party Downtown. Join us at OWA on Joe Cain Day (Feb. 19) for a Mardi Gras Parade and Party you won’t want to miss.
The epic celebration begins at 2 pm with free live music on OWA Island from 5 Mile Brass, an 8-piece funky rock brass band from Mobile, AL. Plus, we’ll have fun kids’ activities where they can create their own feathered Mardi Gras mask. Head to the OWA Island at 4 pm to check out the Tobacco Road Band before the parade begins.
Starting at 6 pm, floats will travel the streets of Downtown OWA while partygoers line the sidewalks catching swag from above.
Are you an organization looking to participate in the OWA Parade? We invite all Mardi Gras enthusiasts to apply below and participate in the fun!
Stick around after the parade for even more Mardi Gras fun and live music! OWA’s Mardi Gras celebration is an entirely free and family-friendly event.
That’s not the only Mardi Gras fun happening at OWA this season. We also have two other parades leading up to Joe Cain Day. Join us for the Krewe du Kidz and Puppy Gras walking parades! (link!)
