A Day for the Dunes
On Saturday, September 28th, from 9 am to 11 am the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station and Dune Doctors will host A Day for the Dunes. NBMSS student-teachers and Dune Doctors’ coastal restoration experts will team up to present stations and activities on the importance of preserving our marine and coastal environments followed by an opportunity to partake in Planting for Protection where participants will get to plant sea oats on the dunes. Attendees can be part of our beach clean up, Planting for Protection, and educational programs. Check-in at Seagull Pavilion.
Planting is limited to 100 participants. Registration is required for planting only.
