Animal Welfare Committee Booth:
Learn about animal welfare: how zookeepers train and enrich animals’ daily lives to provide a positive, naturalistic environment and healthy living conditions.

Enrichment Committee Booth:
Enrichment Committee focuses on the natural behavior that animals exhibit and how we can encourage them! We will have a small enrichment item that you can build, and you can address it to your favorite species or animal.

Conservation Committee Booth:
Learn what our zoo is doing for conservation efforts local and abroad while also learning about what you can do at home to help protect amazing species!

Employee Engagement Committee Booth:
Come meet the Employee Engagement Committee that is dedicated to improving the morale of the staff and write a "thank you" note to some of the employees.

Training Committee:
Training committee in action! There will be 15-20 minute training sessions at each of the exhibits listed below. Keepers from each animal department will be conducting a training session to show off their hard work and the important behaviors we use to better take care of our animals. A member of the training committee will be there to chat with guests and answer any questions during the training session. We will discuss topics such as why we train, the basics of operant conditioning, and the tools we use to accomplish our training goals.
