The opioid crisis in America is at an all time high. People of all ages are being poisoned by recreational drugs entering our country at alarming rates. The Centre For Excellence of Pensacola‘s, Jamie’s Mom’s House is excited to offer the first annual “Walk for Hope,” August 31st, 6-7pm in the heart of downtown Pensacola starting at Martin Luther King Jr. Park. Walk with us as we bring awareness to the opioid crisis in America, remembering loved ones that lost their fight with this deadly disease, those that still struggle, while celebrating sobriety with others. Participants are encouraged to meet at Martin Luther King Jr. Park between 5-6pm with pictures of loved ones to carry with them as they walk. The walk will last 1 hour as we walk down Palafox street. REGISTER TO WALK: Go to www.centre4excellence.org/Jmh, visit our Facebook page @Centre4Excellence.TDP or show up Aug. 31st ready to walk!
