Job Title: Membership Engagement & Events Coordinator
Reports To: President/CEO
Non-Exempt, Full Time
Summary:
The Membership Engagement & Events Coordinator works closely with the President as a key member of the Chamber Team. This role is focused on supporting Chamber Members and cultivating positive, successful relationships. The coordinator provides one-on-one consultations, particularly with first-year Members and facilitates meaningful engagement opportunities, and delivers strategic guidance to help Members maximize the value of their Chamber investment.
In addition, this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Chamber events that enhance member experience and community visibility. As a small Chamber, collaboration is essential, and every initiative is accomplished through a strong team effort.
Membership Responsibilities: Responsible for recruiting and onboarding new members, including managing membership inquiries, processing new member materials, and maintaining accurate records in ChamberMaster. Plans and executes quarterly New Member Orientations and ensures new members are engaged through ribbon cuttings and networking events. Conducts regular outreach to at-risk members to support retention and collaborates with the President on strategies to increase membership satisfaction. Serves as staff liaison to key committees and networking events, prepares meeting materials, and provides regular member communications. Coordinates and supports all member events, assists with sponsorship development, contributes to area guide production, maintains area guide distribution for Ambassadors to deliver, and schedules monthly networking programs. Provides ongoing support for membership initiatives and overall Chamber operations.
Events Responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating and managing Chamber events, including setting up and maintaining accurate event details, registrations, and fees in ChamberMaster. Tracks attendance, sends customized follow-up communications, and ensures proper invoicing. Collaborate with host businesses to coordinate logistics, confirm event readiness, and provide timely reminders. Works with marketing to promote events. Secures sponsorships, develops event layouts, and provides P/L for events.

- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, word processing, spreadsheet, Canva, project management, and database software. Experience with social media platforms.

- Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
