The Panelists

Sharon Williams, PHR, SHRM-CP, CSP is the Business Development Manager for Landrum Staffing Services. She has been with Landrum HR for 11 years. Sharon serves Landrum’s business clients in a consultative capacity, through assessing specific staffing and HR needs and assisting in the development of services and programs to best meet those needs. In this role, she receives first-hand feedback from the local business community pertaining to workforce challenges and HR concerns. She began her career at Landrum as an HR Specialist, working for 6 years with employers to fill their job positions with the best-qualified employees. She provides presentations to business and community groups regarding the current state of our local workforce, employee recruitment and screening tips, career preparation skills, and associated HR topics. She has a BA in Legal Studies from UWF and has earned the designations of CSP (Certified Staffing Professional), PHR (Professional in Human Resources), and SHRM-CP (Certified HR Professional). In addition, Sharon has served as the Legislative Committee Chair for the Greater Pensacola Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (GPSHRM) for the past four years, meeting with Florida legislators to educate them regarding the impact proposed HR legislation would have on local businesses.

Joshua K. Roth, project manager/ executive consultant with more than 15 years experience implementing and integrating software applications primarily in the food industry. Highly effective process optimization, designing innovative solutions and leveraging technology. Managed projects encompassing all operational aspects of a business and their vendors. Most recent work has focused on Workforce Management for national, multi-location restaurants. Clients include O'Charley's, Village Inn, Baker's Square and Dunkin' Brands.

A Cajun from Lafayette, LA now living in Gulf Breeze, Josh is very social spending time with family and friends on the beach, boat, bars or a number of other places along the Emerald Coast. Cooking, boating, shooting, laughing often and networking are a few hobbies. Professional and Civic groups/memberships include City of Gulf Breeze Development Review Board, Pensacola Beach Chamber, Gulf Breeze Area Chamber, IT Gulf Coast, Innovation Coast, ITEN Wired, SERTOMA Gulf Breeze, Krewe of Lafitte and Friday Koffee Klatch.

Julie Arnett, SHRM-CP, FPC Joining the Avalon HR team in 2015, Julie has over 12 years of human resources experience including developing HR processes and policies, human resource systems, compliance, employee relations, performance management, recruiting, benefits, compensation, and training.

Her career has included management positions with large, mid-sized, and small companies in various industries including publishing, manufacturing, marketing, healthcare, and hospitality.

Julie is certified as a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), formerly served as a board member of the Baldwin County Society for Human Resource Management and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Greater Pensacola Society for Human Resource Management and the Baldwin County Society for Human Resource Management. She earned a Fundamental Payroll Certification and is a member of the American Payroll Association.
